Welcome to my little slice of life at Affogato She Goes! I have been working in corporate fashion in NYC for the past decade! My husband, Joe and I have built a city life in our little apartment in Midtown Manhattan in NYC.

After years of traveling, curating a closet of style, and negotiating for a living I realized there was a plethora of fun knowledge and tips that I could share to make peoples lives easier, more efficient, affordable, and enjoyable. It sure did help that my husband and I have been pretending we had a blog for the past 10 years haha! He discovered my innate love of sharing all of our excursions ups and downs when we returned from our travels. I started with creating memory books on Shutterfly that were drenched with stories of our adventures so we never forget the way a place made us feel. We continued our travels and started a diary that I would keep to document our treasured memories detailed out. This is the best way to capture the real essence of a trip because you don’t have that ‘rose colored classes‘ nostalgia when you are in the moment. What I mean here is that everything you chat about post trip is always fa-bu-lo-us, you remember the best parts from the euphoria of your travels. In our case if something goes wrong or makes you angry you best believe the details are in the diary! To top it off every place we went Joe asked “Did you take a picture for the blog” It was always a dream of ours to document our memories and help others.

Maybe we will help you discover a place that was never on your travel list, fill you in on a credit card deal that enables you to pay for a trip you could never afford, or pack 12 bottles of wine in a carry on and still only have one piece of luggage on a trip! We think the possibilities are endless and we hope you do to!

To sum us up we are a ball of deals. Deals on flights, credit card offers, savings on the coat from this season or the boots from last season. It’s the thrill of the hunt! We love to explore what this world has to offer! When we’re not traveling, we are busy looking for deals, binge watching our favorite shows, but usually searching for the sunshine!

Last minute. There is just something we love about the rush! Whether its booking our excursions with days or even sometimes hours to spare before take off!! After 27 countries under my belt. (Joe may have a couple more on me after his work travels…) We are focused on diving deeper into the countries we love and relishing in the smaller towns. You’re in luck! We are here to help! We’ve made our fair share of errors and mistakes while traveling so we’re excited to tell you about the best restaurants, the ones to avoid, but more importantly how to make the traveling experience more enjoyable and fulfilling!
